This Privacy Policy of Build Shop, Inc. ("BSI") is designed to explain to you how your information is collected, used, and protected. By using any of BSI's websites or services you signify your consent to our collection and use of personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

What Information Do We Collect? - When visiting any website maintained by BSI, you may provide BSI with two types of information: (i) personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis when creating an account or communicating; and (ii) website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you browse a BSI maintained website.

    • Account Registration Information - Through your account profile, you may provide BSI with information about you, descriptions of services for your firm or company, identifying your firm or company, your physical address, your geographical location, your email address, your telephone number, and your practices when you register to be a user of BSI, register for certain services, or register for email alerts. If you create an account on any BSI website, you understand that your username, personal information, company information, geographical information, submitted photos, and other information may be posted for public display on the BSI network of websites.

    • Email Information - If you choose to correspond with BSI through email, we may retain the content of your email messages along with your email address and BSI's responses. BSI may from time to time send BSI promotions to account holders. If you sign up for an account on BSI, you understand that you are consenting to receive emails from BSI. You may manage or adjust your email preferences from BSI in the user account settings.

    • Payment Information - For accounts that have purchased services through BSI, we will gather and store your payment card information, your email address, your mobile phone number, and billing address. We will use this information to complete purchases that you choose to make through BSI, but only with your permission. We will not share this information with other third parties except as a necessary part of providing our Website and Services.

    • Comments and Interactive Forms - BSI may collect information if you provide it in feedback or comments or otherwise post information in or to any interactive forms found in any BSI website. Please do not post any personal information in interactive forms that you expect or wish to keep private.

Use of Collected Information - Similar to other commercial websites, websites maintained by BSI utilize a standard technology called "cookies" and web server logs to collect information about how such website is used. BSI, or users of our websites who post on our websites in interactive forms, may provide hyperlinks to third party websites, of which may have different privacy policies. BSI does NOT maintain any control over the privacy policies of those third party websites, nor can it control or protect any personally identifying information outside of the BSI websites and platform, so we strongly encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.

Sharing Information with Third Parties - As BSI develops its business, BSI may buy or sell assets or business offerings. You understand that BSI may sell your collected information to certain partners and preferred vendors for business intelligence purposes. Customers, email addresses, and website visitor information is generally one of the transferred business assets in these types of transactions. BSI may also transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, or any dissolution. BSI may provide or sell customer, email and website visitor information to third parties who would use such information for marketing or solicitation purposes.

BSI may share your Personal Information with trusted third parties who are integral to the operation of our Website and Services, including but not limited to financial institutions, payment processors, verification services and credit bureaus, as well as any third parties that you have directly authorized to receive your Personal Information. BSI may also store your Personal Information in locations outside of its direct control, for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers.

BSI may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or subpoena or if BSI believes that such action is necessary to (i) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on BSI or its affiliated parties, or (ii) protect and defend BSI's rights and property, BSI's websites, the users of BSI's websites, or BSI's affiliated parties.

International Users - By visiting a BSI website and providing BSI with information, you acknowledge and consent that BSI may use the information collected for the reasons outlined in this Privacy Policy or in BSI's other communications with you, including the transmission of information outside of your resident jurisdiction. Such information is stored on servers located in the United States. By providing BSI with your information, either passively or actively, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of such information under the terms herein and to this locale.

Children and Privacy - BSI does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13), or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction without verifiable parental consent. If we receive notice that we have collected the personal information of a minor under the age of thirteen (13) without first receiving verifiable parental consent (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, we will take necessary steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

Children under the age of thirteen (13), or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction are NOT permitted to create an account on the BSI website, unless a parent has provided consent in writing to BSI that the minor has permission to have the account and that BSI may retain personal information as related to the minor. If a parent has a need to access, amend, or delete personal information related to a Child’s BSI account, they may contact us through the privacy policy administrator at privacy@buildshop.com.

Account Closure and Data Retention - Your account may be closed for violation of the BSI Terms of Service or End User License Agreement or you may choose to close your account with BSI. If your account is closed for any reason whatsoever, you understand that you will no longer be providing data to BSI in present or in the future. You understand that although your account will be closed, public postings or comments related to your profile may still remain publicly accessible. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, BSI may retain personal information for the purposes of maintaining this privacy policy.

Changes to the Privacy Policy - BSI reserves the right to amend this privacy policy periodically to account for Company changes as well as changes in the law. Any updates or changes to this privacy policy shall first be announced and subsequently published to this webpage.
